Southern Italy is full of warmth, beauty, and history. The food is also amazing—think fresh pasta, street food in Catania, seafood, and the best pizza in the world!
The best time to visit depends on what you like. Spring and autumn are perfect because the weather is nice and there are fewer crowds, so you can really enjoy places like Matera or the beaches in Calabria. Summer is more lively with festivals and lots of people, especially by the sea. Winter is quieter, which is great if you want to explore cities like Bari or Palermo without too many tourists around.
