If someone asked me which Italian city I would leave Rome for, I’d choose Turin in a heartbeat. The locals are incredibly proud of their city, and after visiting 3-4 times, I completely understand why!
About Turin: More Than Just an Industrial City
Turin (or Torino in Italian) sits in northern Italy, known for its cool climate and occasional foggy days. But don’t let the weather deter you! This city is a stunning blend of Baroque grandeur, Art Nouveau elegance, and modern design.
Forget what you’ve heard about Turin being gray and industrial. This is a vibrant artistic hub with creativity around every corner. From its iconic architecture to its rich industrial history, Turin offers a unique travel experience that goes beyond typical Italian destinations.

This little gem first opened its doors in 1850 but moved to its current location in 1907. It was a favorite haunt of the royal family and various artists.
