Overall, this Cycladic island stands out as a destination that combines beautiful beaches, nightlife and cultural activities, offering unique experiences and beautiful holidays for every traveller. Personally, I loved it, just like I loved Koufonisia!

THE BEACHES OF TINOS

Tinos is famous for its spectacular beaches, each of which offers a unique experience. Among these, the five best beaches that offer unforgettable moments of enjoyment and relaxation stand out:

#1. Kolibithra Beach in Tinos

With white sand and crystal clear waters, Kolibithra beach is one of the most picturesque destinations in Tinos. I would say it’s perhaps the best beach on the island!

It has sand inside and out and some shade under the rocks. You won’t find sunbeds, but you’ll find umbrellas and beach tents for rent that provide shade. It also has a very nice alternative beach bar with eco-friendly straws and pasta!

Beware of bees and jellyfish! Next to it there is a swamp and that’s probably why it has quite a few (of course I got stung so I’m telling you this!).

Go early if you want to get shade. SUPs are also available for rent.

#2. Agios Fokas Beach

With its turquoise waters and impressive rocky coastline, Agios Fokas beach is ideal if you are staying near Chora as it is very close to the port. It is organized with bars (we sat at Sundara) and sunbeds and also has sand.

If you go there, remember to go for fish at the Salt Like restaurant (make a reservation).

#3. Agios Ioannis Beach

With golden sand and azure waters, Agios Ioannis beach offers a relaxing atmosphere. The traditional taverns in the surrounding area invite you on gastronomic journeys of local cuisine. La La Louza Beach Bar Tinos makes quite a party, so if you’re looking for something with loud music and nice drinks, go for this one. The other restaurant on the same beach is just as good but for more relaxation.

#4. Agapiani Beach or Small Kolympithra

Right next to Kolympithra, with equally excellent waters and less crowds, is the beach of Small Kolympithra and Agapiani.

It is organized and has a restaurant for food with amazing views!

#5. Rohari Beach

An alternative beach with quite a few trees for shade and a nice beach bar. Pretty good if you go with family, as you can spread out comfortably under the shade of the trees.

These beaches are just a small taste of the rich variety Tinos has to offer. Each of them is unique and provides moments of pure relaxation.
